Reading with Expression

I was working in a group with Andre, Eruera and Troy and we were reading a play.  We got to choose which one we were.  The first time we read it we had to make sure we knew the words.  The next time we read it Mrs Graham read it and we said it after her so we could make our reading smooth.  One thing I learnt was when there's a question your voice goes higher and when there's a dash you stop adn have a break before you carry on.

Buddhist temple

 On the 11th of may 2017 when I came into my class. My teacher told me that we were going to the Buddhist temple. When it was 9.00 o clock room 20 and all of the other year 6 and 5 went down to the bus. When we got there we split into 4 groups then we went to talk about the nature.  She told us about different colored flowers and trees. Next we went to our activity. We made lotus flowers. We tipped water over the statue.  it was small then we had to act like a bee or bird then we had to write what you wanted to be when we were older

Bike Skills

I enjoy bike skills because we did lots of things like riding over ramps, biking and around the field and lots more. The thing that I most enjoyed was riding over ramps because its lots of fun. We had to stand up when we go over the raḿp.  One thing I haven´t done was doing bike skills at school.

swollen and flooded. yesterday it was pouring here us well. so we decided to do some authentic learning   we made some raincoats from plastic bags and walked down to see the creek behind our school

Last Wednesday we went on an trip to camp MERC  at camp we have done fun activities the first activity was tree climbing

it was fun the tree was 30 meters tall the next activity we did was abseiling first we put this purple rope on us to tell us we are safe.
